CORP Clinic 101 : MTB Foundations I Coed
In this 2-hour “foundations” clinic, we will cover the skill essentials to help you on your path to loving riding bikes on dirt (even on roots and rocks!)
Our “CORP Trails 101: MTB Foundations I” is perfect for the new rider, or the experienced rider who wants to refresh foundational skills for the season and pick up a few new pointers. By the end of this clinic, you'll be equipped with a solid toolkit to help you tackle beginner singletrack trails confidently and smoothly.
Our local, expert clinic leaders will cover the basics: body position, bike-body “separation”, braking, shifting, and starting and stopping on hills. We will keep you moving as much as possible with feedback and encouragement. Clinics are intentionally kept small so instructors can provide individualized support.
EQUIPMENT: At minimum, you'll need a helmet, close-toed footwear, and an operable, maintained basic mountain bike. We will have limited snacks and water available, but please come prepared with your own nutrition and hydration needs, too.
