At CORP Trails, our mission is to build a vibrant mountain biking community by creating, maintaining, and riding high-quality trails across south-central Wisconsin.
We are a locally driven organization focused on delivering great trail experiences close to home. By keeping resources and decision-making rooted in our community, we’re able to invest more directly in the trails you ride—expanding access, improving sustainability, and supporting the people who make it all happen.
Our work centers on trail building, stewardship, and advocacy that benefits riders and the broader outdoor community.
Making Trails Happen
CORP Trails is a nonprofit powered by passionate members, supportive local businesses, and generous donors.
Since 1995, we have partnered with private landowners, municipalities, and county and state property managers to build and maintain more than 80 miles of bike-optimized, natural surface trails across twenty locations in South-central Wisconsin.
Our local trails have been built through partnerships between our volunteers and landowners. CORP Trails acts as a developer by creating a shared vision, leading fundraising, sourcing labor (volunteer and professional), managing projects, and providing ongoing maintenance after completion. Your membership dollars, combined with donations, sponsorships, and grants provide the bulk of funding for these efforts.
Building Community
Join us to connect with the mountain biking community through group rides, skills clinics, exciting events like our spring Love Your Trails Day and fall Movie Night. You can get more involved through volunteer opportunities that grow and maintain local trail systems by helping with work events, joining committees or helping with other behind-the-scenes efforts.
The CORP Trails we enjoy in south-central Wisconsin provide a welcome excuse to connect with friends and take a break from social media, news updates, and the constant alerts on our phones. Group rides, clinics, and work days provide opportunities to connect with others and make new friends.
