CORP Women’s Clinic 301 : First Time Jumps and Drops

  • CamRock Area 3 (Park Shelter) 2334 Highland Drive Cambridge, WI, 53523 United States (map)

Women's Clinic! This clinic is for female identifying participants

In this 2-hour intermediate/advanced clinic, learn how to leave the ground (safely and in control) while shredding singletrack trails.

Our CORP Women’s Clinic 301 First time Drops and Jumps clinic is perfect for the intermediate/advanced rider who has a solid grasp on foundational MTB skills, but wants to learn the basics for how to begin jumping on a bike. By the end of this clinic, you'll be equipped with a solid toolkit to help you start your journey of airborne biking - safely!

Our local, expert clinic leaders will cover the basics to help you get both wheels off the ground (on purpose!) We'll learn the basics of a solid bunny hop, and progress to drops, table tops and a small gap jump.

We will keep you moving as much as possible with feedback and encouragement. Clinics are limited to 10 participants so instructors can provide individualized support.

LOCATION: Badger Prairie County Park, Verona (Location: Meet at the Shelter by the Playground)

EQUIPMENT: At minimum, you'll need a helmet, close-toed footwear, and an operable, maintained basic mountain bike (with front suspension). We will have limited snacks and water available, but please come prepared with your own nutrition and hydration needs, too!

WHO ARE OUR CLINIC INSTRUCTORS?

Caitlin Neuman is a local MTB legend (& Bike Mechanic at Neff Cycle Service!) and Elise Uphoff is a coach for Madison West's MTB team. Both Caitlin and Elise are longtime instructors for CORP Clinics. They've spent years helping people hone their foundational skills and are sure to help you improve too!
