Thirty Years Brings a Milestone, a New Name and New Look

For the past thirty years, CORP has been at the heart of mountain biking in the Madison region, building and maintaining trails that bring adventure, camaraderie, and a sense of community. What started as a small group of passionate riders with shovels and a dream has grown into a thriving nonprofit dedicated to preserving and enhancing a 60+ mile trail network.

Reflecting on Three Decades of Impact
Since our founding in 1995, CORP volunteers have logged thousands of hours, signed agreements with property managers, and fostered a welcoming environment for riders of all skill levels. We've evolved and grown along with mountain bikes and trail design.

A Community Built on Passion
At its core, our success stems from the dedication of our members, volunteers, and supporters. Whether you've swung a Pulaski, attended the Love Your Trails Spring Fundraiser, or simply enjoyed a ride on our trails, you’ve played a part in shaping our legacy. We’re grateful for every hand that has helped build, maintain, and advocate for our trails.

Looking Ahead to the Future with a New Look
While we celebrate our past, we’re also looking toward an exciting future. Plans for new trail projects, expanded community outreach, and a new identity are in motion. CORP (Capital Off Road Pathfinders) is changing its name to CORP Trails to better connect with a wider audience. New branding and a new website will roll out near the beginning of April. With your continued support, we’ll keep pushing forward, connecting with new riders, and ensuring that our trails remain a source of challenge, community building, and joy for another 30 years and beyond.

Group Rides

Camrock sets the standard with year-round Thursday evening rides.

Trail Stewards are the core

Over forty trail stewards care for our local trails. They work with land managers, envision future projects, lead volunteer groups, raise funds, meet regularly to share ideas and keep the trails in great shape. Thank you to our stewards!

Professional Training

CORP Trails and the Wisconsin DNR co-host professional training for volunteers.

Work Days

April marks the beginning of the season as volunteers work alongside experienced stewards to clear depressions that hold water, patch erosion on berms, refine lips on jumps, cut back brush, and get things ready to ride!

For three decades, Capital Off Road Pathfinders has been building and maintaining the trails that make South-Central Wisconsin a top destination for mountain biking. As we celebrate 30 years of riding, volunteering, and community, there’s never been a better time to get involved!

Join CORP today and be part of the next chapter—whether you ride, dig, or support, your membership helps keep the trails rolling for years to come.
