CORP Clinic 311 : Advanced Technical Trail Riding

  • Quarry Ridge (meet at the shelter by the bathrooms) 2740 Fitchrona Road Fitchburg, WI, 53719 United States (map)

There are some trail obstacles - downed trees, large rocks as well as very tight corners that take extra skill to maneuver if you want to remain on your bike. In this BRAND NEW CLINIC we'll build on techniques covered in our CORP 211 (Intro to technical riding) and CORP 212 (technical climbs and descents) Clinics to help you on your path to being able to ride more of these tricky trail puzzles instead of hike-a-bike!

We'll start on the grass to learn these techniques in a more controlled environment and then pedal over to Sandy Bown to apply these learnings to real life trails.

We will keep you moving as much as possible with feedback and encouragement. Clinics are limited to 12 participants so instructors can provide individualized support.

LOCATION: Quarry Ridge Recreation Area (meet at the shelter by the bathrooms)

EQUIPMENT: At minimum, you'll need a helmet, close-toed footwear, and an operable, maintained basic mountain bike (with front suspension). We will have limited snacks and water available, but please come prepared with your own nutrition and hydration needs, too!

WHO ARE OUR CLINIC INSTRUCTORS?

Freddy Astrada and Caitlin Neuman are local MTB legends and all around great people! Both Freddy and Caitlin are longtime instructors for CORP Clinics. They've spent years helping people hone their technical skills and are sure to help you improve too!!
