Wild Oaks Preserve

This 416 acre property located 20 minutes southwest of Verona is co-managed by DALC and the Badgerland Foundation. The vision of Wild Oaks is to preserve the property’s rural character by bringing together wildlife habitat, sustainable agriculture, and an immersive trail system that allows people to connect with the land. This includes 8+ miles of bike-optimized singletrack trails through Driftless topography.

Phase I of this project will create hiking and access trails and begin Summer 2025. Phase II will start mountain bike trails in 2026.
