New Glarus Woods Phase II

A seven-mile mountain bike trail system is taking shape in the driftless terrain around New Glarus. The master plan for New Glarus Woods State Park has the green light from the DNR, and permits are moving ahead in phases. Phase I was finished in Spring 2024, bringing fresh trail for everyone to enjoy. Phase II is lined up for Fall 2025, adding another mile of singletrack to keep the momentum going.

So far, we’ve rallied $132,000, but we still need about $150,000 to fully complete the system.
