For the second year in a row, CORP Trails has partnered with the City of Madison and several community organizations, including Dream Bikes, Bike for Kids Wisconsin, Wheels for Winners, and more, to help more kids discover the joy of riding bikes in Madison’s Aldo Leopold southside neighborhood.
Over the three-week series, CORP volunteer coaches introduced more than 30 neighborhood kids, ages 4–12, to mountain biking and took them on a ride along the Shred to School trail along the Cannonball Path. For some kids, it was their first time discovering the trails right in their own neighborhood!
It was smiles all around as kids built skills, gained confidence, and explored new places on two wheels. Event partners also offered bike rentals, a helmet giveaway, and bike checks to help get more kids riding safely.
CORP Trails is thrilled to be part of this community effort to make biking more inclusive and help the next generation of riders discover the fun of local trails!
