Middleton Bike Park

Open to public / Free to use

Riders at the Middleton Bike Park trailhead can spend time on the hard-surface pump track or go directly to the singletrack. The four miles of cross-country trails have a mix of terrain, including a jump line, challenging topography and twisting singletrack.

The system is paired with Blackhawk Ski Club trails for a combined nine miles of challenging riding. Visit the Blackhawk Ski Club website to become a member.

Current conditions

  • CORP Trails partnered with the City of Middleton to open a mountain bike park adjacent to Pleasant View Golf Course in 2010. The park originally consisted of a dirt pump track, a jump line, and a short section of singletrack. It has evolved over the years; the trailhead is now off Schwartz Rd, and boasts a paved pump track. Almost four miles of singletrack include:

    • Fairway; beginner loop with some more challenging options, accesses all the other trails.

    • Clubhouse; intermediate loop, with an optional skills loop (short jumpline and elevated sections) and access to the City of Middleton.

    • Mulligan; intermediate loop, flowy with less elevation change.

    • Slice; advanced/intermediate loop, flowy with more elevation change and two bridges, one of them ‘cranked.’ Primary route to Blackhawk.

    • Chipshot; a difficult but rewarding climb.

    • Doubletrack Connector; easier route to Blackhawk; not technically challenging, but still steep.

    • Back 9; connection to Blackhawk

  • A membership is required to cross over to Blackhawk Ski Club trails.

  • Park at the trailhead shared with CXC Outdoor Center located on the Google Map lower on this page.
