A Celebration at Trek Trails

On Sunday, October 5, CORP Trails brought together fifty donors and Trail Champion & Superstar-level members for a special day at Trek Trails, led by Jake Jones, manager of Madison Trek West. Jake got permission for us to be at Trek Trails, led rides throughout the day, and shared his knowledge of the trail system.

The event was a way of saying thank you to the people who have made a bigger financial commitment to supporting local trails. But the best part was simply getting to spend a day together doing what we all enjoy, riding bikes, talking trails, and hanging out with people who love to ride dirt.

It was a beautiful fall day, and everyone got out on the trails for a few laps. In between rides, people gathered at the Trek Lodge over food, coffee, and drinks, swapping stories and catching up.

Thank you to Dan Coppola, owner of Cafe Domestique, for donating coffee and cider drinks from his mobile espresso cart. This made the morning!

While this event was a thank-you for our higher-level supporters, we value everyone who who supports our local trails; through donations, sponsorships, memberships, volunteering, or by simply getting out there and riding. Thank you to everyone who supports local trails! You allow CORP Trails to maintain and improve the trails we all enjoy, and days like this are a chance for us to give something back and spend some time together outside of the usual workdays and meetings.

Thanks for believing in what we're building together.
